The short version
This website doesn't use cookies, doesn't run analytics, and doesn't track you. If you get in touch, I use your details to deal with your enquiry or your job — and that's it. Nothing is sold, shared or added to marketing lists.
Who I am
Hagon TechDesk is run by David Hagon, 38 Hilldene Avenue, Harold Hill, Romford, Essex RM3 8YP. For anything to do with your data, call 07502 285071 or email david@hagontechdesk.co.uk.
What this website collects
Nothing, actively. There are no cookies, no analytics scripts and no advertising trackers. The site is hosted on Cloudflare's network, which — like any host — briefly processes visitor IP addresses in its server logs to keep the service running and to protect against attacks. I don't see or keep that information.
The chat assistant
"Hagon", the chat bubble in the corner, runs entirely in your browser. Anything you type into it is answered on your own device — it isn't sent to me, stored anywhere, or passed to any third party. Closing the page clears the conversation.
When you contact me
If you call, WhatsApp or email me, I'll have whatever details you give me — usually a name, a number and what's wrong with your machine. I use them to reply, to do the job, and to keep the records the law requires (invoices, for example). I don't pass them to anyone else, and I don't send marketing.
Your machine and your data
If you leave a computer with me for repair, the data on it stays yours and stays private. I only access what the repair genuinely requires, and I never copy, browse or share personal files beyond what's needed to do the work you've asked for.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted (where the law doesn't require me to keep it). Just call or email — no forms, no fuss. If you're ever unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
